Refund policy
1. GENERAL POLICY (IMPORTANT)
ANGAN ACHAR deals in perishable food products (achar/pickles).
Because of the nature of these products, we do NOT accept returns once the order is delivered, except in specific cases mentioned below.
This policy is in line with standard practices for food businesses in India.
2. ELIGIBLE CASES FOR REPLACEMENT / REFUND
You are eligible for a replacement or refund ONLY if:

You received a damaged product (leakage/broken packaging)

You received a wrong product

The product is spoiled or unfit for consumption at delivery
3. CONDITIONS TO CLAIM
To raise a valid request, you must:

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery

Provide:

Clear unboxing video (mandatory)

Photos of the product and packaging

Order details

No proof = no claim. Simple.
4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
We do NOT accept returns or refunds for:

Change of mind
-
Taste preference (“I didn’t like it”)

Opened or partially consumed products
-
Orders where incorrect shipping address was provided by the customer

Delays caused by courier services
5. REPLACEMENT PROCESS
If your request is approved:

We may offer:

Replacement of the same product, OR
-
Refund to original payment method

Decision will be based on product availability and issue type.
6. REFUND TIMELINE

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days

The amount will be credited to your original payment method

7. SHIPPING DAMAGE HANDLING
We take strong precautions in packaging, but if damage occurs:

Report immediately (within 24 hours)

Do not discard the product before approval

Claims without proper proof will be rejected
8. CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch

Once shipped, cancellation is not allowed
